My Writing Progress – 4

In my last ‘Writing Progress’ post, I wrote about finishing the draft of my second book in the series which I just had drafted by then. In the meantime, I had typed it in, edited it and sent it to my editor. It, in fact, turned out to be a novel, not a novella, like the other two books, number one and three in the series.

Shortly before I went on vacation, I had finished drafting the fourth book in the series. I posted this in my newsletter, and I’m still very proud of it.

I took the fifth and sixth book of the series with me on vacation. I had started both but wasn’t too far yet. But my friend’s backyard and pool were extremely calming and relaxing and tickled my fantasy. It’s November, and even though I’m not a participant in the NaNoWriMo, I still finished the fifth book of the series and continued the sixth one.

I’m very surprised, but then I shouldn’t be. I love writing this series and create these characters in each book and meet the existing ones again is such an adventure for me.

I hope very much you will meet some of them soon.

At this point, I do feel a bit worried about my editor being ‘overflowed’ with my manuscripts. And I have to type in two more novellas as quickly as possible.

Wish me luck.

    1. Hello there Joy, I was laughing loudly when I read you thought I was swanning and painting my nails. LOL I very rarely do neither the one nor the other. Unfortunately I have no publishing date yet. There is still a lot to do. Thanks so much for your cheers. 🙂

    1. Let’s say, my creativity ran wild. LOL But I of course didn’t put anyone to shame. There are times when I neither can write nor does my pen deliver anything useful. At this moment I was lucky and I’m trying to get the best out of it.

  2. Wow, you have been busy, Aurora. Congratulations. You’ll have to keep us posted on when the books are available. Best wishes.

You should post this on the group forum so we can all cheer you on there. Since you don’t give any information about the stories, you don’t have to wait for Monday or Thursday. It’s not a promotion. The gang would love to hear how you’re doing, and you might inspire the rest of us in the process.

  3. Wow! That’s great… are you planning to have them all edited before you start releasing them? I’m going to do that with my series and serials from now on. It just makes more sense that way. Then all you have to focus on is doing the promo for those books (which can be better coordinated if you know the release dates for all of them) and writing the next story. 😀
