I cannot get over this absolutely phenomenal picture, taken by Tofino Photography and posted on the website. It is so fantastic I had to re-blog it! (And because I’m a bit jealous too. LOL)
I’m convinced he does other maneuvers. I was in Canada earlier this year and saw my very first bald eagle in freedom and it was the most exquisite feeling ever. I took a little video – but it’s not very good – and he wasn’t flying, he was just sitting on a tree. LOL
sounds like you’ve been bitten by the eagle bug Aurora!
I once saw his partner Delilah do a 360 just like a plane prop! She use to come over and totally invert!
Its like magic being with these beautiful creatures and such a honour for me!
He does all sorts of aerial maneuvers Aurora! I consider him a friend.
Thank you for showing others my friend!

The eagle bug, hm? I won’t deny that. They’re magnificent birds. Even though I’m not sure what other bug has bitten me… I love owls too. 😀

What a fantastic wingspan and elegance in flight. No wonder humans studied birds to get the idea of how to fly. Beautiful photo.
