I was informed that the fourth book in ‘The Council of Twelve’ series, Bounty Hunter, has another 5-star review on Amazon. This is so exciting.
Also, the author of the review has published a second, a bit more detailed, but wonderfully great review on her website. I’m permitting myself to show them both here.
Bounty Hunter is 4th book in ‘The Council of Twelve Series’ If you have not read the other three, I advise you do such. Especially if you happen to by chance start your introduction into the Council of Twelve Series with this book. It’s the perfect YA fantasy/ paranormal romance book that adults will gobble up as well. In Bounty Hunter, we meet Centriel the youngest Arch Angel in the Council of Twelve. A bit forlorn as the others have found their consorts or at least have a “someone” he decides to take a flight to clear his thoughts. He finds a clearing to land and rests on a rock only to stumble upon a scene as we meet Simin Arnatt a petite, but fierce bounty hunter with a secret. She bursts through with her prey and Centriel is stunned. Centriel steps in when her bounty the dangerously charming shadow demon Rapha Golden requests the Council of Twelve asylum. This very act throws Simin and Centriel into a fire that instantly ignites them in more ways than one.
Bounty Hunter is giddily delicious! So much fun to read! Alexander instantly welcomes you back into her luscious world with characters that are phenomenally created big or small. Alexander locks your eyes in at first sentence and you fall easily into her world and get lost. you do not want to put the book down.
Yesterday I found another wonderful exciting surprise in my mailbox! Bounty Hunter got its second 5-star review. I’m so happy, I’m about to burst. It is such an exquisite emotion to know that the books I write are loved! Thank you so much for a wonderful review!

Archangel Centriel is having a bad day so it was suggested that he get out and fly,
something that he excels at. After a while he sits on a rock and looks out around him only to find a man running with a beautiful woman right behind. Centriel recognizes that the man is not human and when he gets down on his knees begging not to be killed his true appearance of a minotaur shows.
Simin Arnatt is a bounty hunter with secrets and once again Centriel knows he is not dealing with a mortal but is unable to detect what she truly is. The connection between the two of them is instant and Centriel realizes without a doubt that he has found his consort. She can hear his thoughts and touch his soul.
Now that Simin’s assignment is over Centriel takes her on a holiday to Bali where they can get to know each other better. The vacation is cut short when she is called for a new assignment, one ordered by Beelzebub. Rapha Golden, a demon has disappeared and Beelzebub wants him back. Zepheira is the best demon tracker and agrees to help since everyone knows that Simin is Centriel’s girl.
Knowing that this would not be an easy case since Rapha is a shadow and hard to track down both Zye and Simin are shocked when he turns himself in asking for asylum. He wants to turn to the good side and defect but is he telling the truth it will be up to the archangels to find out.
I loved the bond that Simin and Centriel formed and her acceptance by everyone else as a part of the family. Of course we touch base with other archangels and their consorts that we met previously which was nice and we still get a follow up on Sundance. I would suggest that this series be read in order just for your own enjoyment.
I am so proud to discover that Sundance, the second book in ‘The Council Of Twelve’ series got a new 5-star review. This is wonderful.

I’m so happy that the Indie’s Review blog has published a review for Demon Tracker, the 3rd book in ‘The Council of Twelve’ series.
Zepheira is the best Demon Tracker working for the Good side. With her unusual looks, her phenomenal sense of smell, and her bravery, she quickly draws ‘The Big 7’s attention to her talent. They hire her to find one of them. Leaving her familiar surroundings and regular work environment unsettles Zepheira at first. But the challenge to prove herself and to increase the reputation of her infallibility tempts her.
She is convinced she will be a great asset to ‘The Big 7’. Little does she know she will be a much greater asset in Heaven’s fight against Evil. Zepheira suddenly becomes more than a hired tracker. She finds herself an important pawn in the game of love, heat, and fire. Will her courage and sacrifice be sufficient to dance with the flames.

REVIEW
NOTHING BUT PRAISE!- Book 3 in ‘The Council of Twelve Series’ is WOW! Taking sometime after ‘Sundance’ (book 2) we meet demon tracker extraordinaire Zepheira of the Divine Army. With her proud horns and her master sense of smell memory, she is good at her job. When a summons from The Council of Twelve calls her away Zepheira is intrigued and floored at the attraction she has for Uriel.
I am so very proud that Demon Tracker got its third 5-star review. The book has also been recommended on BookBub which I’m very excited about! This is so great, I’m smiling all the time!
‘Amazingly Good’
With all that is going on in this world, Alexander provides a wondrous escape into her magical mythological world.
‘Demon Tracker’ throws all the punches and hits every target! ‘Demon Tracker’ is good to the last page read! Not one page was I bored! I think the best book in the series yet. Zepheira is a breakout character and I fell in love with her instantly. Alexander creates a character that is brash, sarcastic, witty, and tough without any effort. She has to be my favorite book character to date. I hope this is not the last in the series. We do still have a jilted Lucifer sulking in the shadows!
Demon Tracker’s second 5-star review was posted May 3, 2020. I’m so happy I’m actually dancing around my place. This is a great day!

I want to begin this review by saying if you haven’t read the first two books, I strongly recommend doing so. Book two ended with questions about Sundance, and those questions are finally answered in this book.
Zepheira (Zye) is a fighter and messenger of the Divine Army hunting demons, but a call from The Big Seven”, legendary warrior angels, sets her on a new path. A demon has stolen the soul of an angel, and it is important that they find him and release the soul; otherwise, it will be lost in Hell forever. She has only two weeks to carry out this mission, but as the best tracker and her ability to use her sense of smell, they are confident she can succeed where they have failed.
She immediately knows by using her sense of smell that the demon they are after is Faramon, the same demon that was there the night her mother was killed. Zye is the daughter of a human and Pan who like Faramon was there when her mom died, since then she has never seen or heard from her father. She is a hybrid blood creature with the same horns as her father. She offers herself as bait with a promise from Uriel the Archangel to be there to protect her.
Her mission is a success except for the fact that she finds herself Lucifer’s prisoner. Some of the funniest parts of this story take place in Hell, where Zye pits herself against the evilest creature known to mankind. She never shows fear even when she is shaking in her boots, and Lucifer has found his match. What happens with the two of them I won’t reveal because it is too priceless to give away in this review.
Uriel and Zye have no doubt that their feelings for each other go way beyond what was initially intended; after a lifetime of searching for the perfect woman, he has finally found her, but does she feel the same?
Zye is an amazing character with the kind of strength that even stunned the Council of Twelve, except for the fact that they do try on many occasions to curb her use of foul language, not always successfully.
A wonderful addition to a wonderful series.
I’m very excited to let you all know that ‘Soul Taker’, the first book in ‘The Council Of Twelve’ series, got its third 5-star review. This is wonderful, I’m literally bouncing through my day.
New author A.J. Alexander excites us with her debut novella Soul Taker. Kate is an angel of death, taking the soul into the afterlife. After a job that went bad Kate wants to call it quits. Her request is granted in that she is now a Guardian angel and will learn under the tutelage of the great charming, and alluring Archangel Raphael. While Kate is being trained to be a Guardian demons attack kidnapping Kate. She has something they want. After her rescue by the Council of Twelve, we learn Kate does not have something hell and Lucifer want she IS what they want. You have to read the rest of the book to find out why.
Soul Taker is nicely written. Alexander pulls you into her world that is warm and welcoming. The characters are well written. Kate is written with a large innocence and vulnerability, yet it is also her strength as well. Lucifer is luxurious and I love him and Kate’s banter. This book is to be a series and it’s a nice beginning. Alexander is on my radar and will be interested in what else this series brings.
