Thanksgiving 2016

Thanksgiving is traditionally a day to say grace, to be grateful, to say ‘Thank you’ for the blessings. And again, this year that’s what I’d like to do.

I’m saying thanks for:

  • … my family and friends
  • … my chance to do what I love doing
  • … my luck to have food on the table every single day
  • … my writer friends
  • … my supporters here in the writing world
  • … my progress in writing
  • … my finished novella
  • … my ideas for future novellas in the series
  • … my blog
  • … and every single follower, reader and commenter on here who makes this blog such a wonderful journey for me.

THANK YOU ALL!!

A Heartfelt Thank You

March 11, 2015 my first blog post, “Welcome to the Writer’s Treasure Chest” was published. This was exactly 9 months ago. Since then this blog has made far better progress than I ever had dared to hope.

Even though I was a little scared to own my own blog and keep readers entertained, you all made it enjoyable for me!

This blog has made significant progress. In the meantime I could celebrate by far over 200 followers, 1,000 likes, over 8,000 views, 2 blog awards and December 9, 2015 I got this:

200_posts

Each visit is making me happy, each comment is making me proud and each re-blog is a huge honor for me!

Thank you

My friendships mean more to me than most things. I have friends from lots of areas of my life, from acquaintances that I know through others, to those who know my deepest, innermost thoughts and who have been with me through my happiest and darkest times. Some I have known for over twenty years, others I have met in the last year. A few are school, college friends or university friends, some are former colleagues, one or two I even met randomly while standing outside a pub having a cigarette. I will speak to some just four or five times a…
