Wonderful Spring Time May

The sun sends light down to the Earth

to show the world that it is worth

the warmth, the sunbeams and the song

of Nature pure, it can’t be wrong.

**

When the ground it thirsts for something wet

if rain it needs, that’s what it will get.

Darkest clouds clot up there in the sky

The relief the dry ground feels like a sigh.

**

And still very soon after pouring rain

The world is bright and beams again.

The baby starlings scream for food

other birds as well, they feed their brood.

**

At night you hear the barn owls do

demand to eat, they’re hungry too.

Baby foxes play around, while Momma hunts

and the baby deer won’t make a sound.

**

Listen to nature and you can hear its song

when birds are racing all along.

Singing, twittering, and complaint

they live their life without constraint.

**

The world is old but in spring it will

renew itself with master skill.

Give birth, grow up and paint with ploy

colorful pictures for our joy.

**

Enjoy the spring, enjoy the stance

whistle, sing and also dance.

Soon enough the birds will fly.

And the Earth will once more getting dry.

When Nature Awakes

The newest year is still a child

when frost clear air is turning mild.

Snow, it melts and leaves below

last year’s dirt and rests  to show.

**

The sun gets warmer, gains in might,

sends its heat, its warmth and light.

soft blue sky and cotton clouds

make people smile; elicit the crowds.

**

Leaves on trees peak out and show

some new and happy greens to grow.

Nature turns colorful, yellow, red, blue

it’s a miracle of renewal but that we knew.

**

Birds twitter while feeding their brood

more and more people we find in good mood.

Young mammals are born, they make us all smile

It’s easy to stay and marvel for just a little while.

**

Nature is great, frozen, when asleep

it can wake, it can die, it can smile and weep.

But most of all while through seasons we roam

Nature is cleaning our Earth and Home.

First Signs of the New Season – Fall 2016

September has come, days cooling down

We often feel a breeze now, wafting through town.

Sunlight gets weaker and the trees lose their leaves

We start wearing boots and our T-Shirts get sleeves.

**

Grass turns brown and often it rains

Autumn cools the blood in our veins.

Nature changes colors, green turns into red

Yellow, brown and orange are the colors ahead.

**

Soon enough towards end of the summer

We start staying inside, what a bummer!

The green grass replaced by pumpkin patches

Candles and lamps are lit up with matches.

**

Halloween draws nearer, is just ahead of us.

We search for hoods, caps and gloves no reason for fuss.

As fun this season gets, the heat is amiss

To keep us warm very often, is only a kiss.

**

And on one day, before we’re even aware,

Towards the end of the year, we’re sure getting there.

Families prepare, laugh and steer

To the Thanksgiving feast, how quick it was here!

The day is hot, the air to shimmer

Rocks ‘n ground and water simmer.

The crop in fields it’s standing high

wheat and corn and also rye.

**

The sun is burning pretty strong

And even though we get along

Still the burning heat I flee

Seek shelter under one wide tree.

**

Life is nourished by the sun

Nature grows, it’s always done.

Especially during summertime

It feels harmonic and to chime

**

Birds and animals, they grow

In fall they’re gone, as we all know.

Time it moves, all seasons do

We all are caught within this queue.

**

The constant circle of all life

It shows itself within this strive.

A time to come and one to end

We do improve – and always mend.
