They’re huge, they’re lethal and they do take my breath,

Their features, their nature, their instincts bring death.

In their natural habitats they are the king

Get out of their way or your life ends with a sting.

**

Their disguise is perfect, never feel safe

Stay inside, you can’t see them, don’t be too brave.

No matter how closely you listen around

They could lurk behind you without slightest sound.

**

No matter how fluffy and cuddly they seem

Petting and touching them can’t be but a dream.

Don’t try to outrun them, they’re faster than you

Don’t try to climb from them they can do that too!

**

Even water won’t save you, once you’re on the run

Swimming and splashing to them is much fun!

Once you’re prey to them, you’re most likely lost

Start praying, they’ll get you, at no matter what cost.

**

Beauty in gold, in black and in white

Gorgeous in disguise and lethal their bite.

Death on four paws with golden-green eyes

To stay out of their way is smart and is wise.

**

And still this predator is nearly extinct

Fear and pure ignorance has killed them succinct…

It’s time we protect them, make room for their stay

And stop their endless, cruel and unnatural slay!

**

We will lose a hunter, dangerous and unique

I’ll reveal him, deprive him of his mystique.

His numbers are low, getting visibly tighter

Of course I talk about the incomparable TIGER.
