The single greatest challenge you will face in trying to accomplish anything great is FEAR. FEAR is nothing to be underestimated and we need to learn to manage it if we want to succeed. I remember being a kid and Dune was one of my favorite movies. At the age of ten I memorized Paul Atreides’ mantra:
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

Embarking on the new is always scary, mostly because there is very little reference in your immediate community to brain storm with. There is no one planning to go on that crazy trail you’re headed on. So alone I go; meeting friends of like minds in different communities. Mutual ideas then cross demographics to assure you that your mission is sound. I am at this place right now. I say, “Fear, Who?”.
